Michael Levin holds an M.S. degree in Pharmacology from the New York Medical College and a M.D. degree from the NYU School of Medicine. After his pediatric training, Dr. Levin completed a two-year training at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute in developmental-behavioral medicine, mental retardation, and pediatric psychopharmacology and took a faculty position at the UC Irvine Child Development Center, where he participated in psychopharmacological research.  After moving to Northern California, Dr. Levin founded the East Bay Psychopharmacology Group (EBPG) and was its Medical Director for more than 25 years. During that time, in addition to running a busy private practice, he conducted pharmaceutical research and was a member on the advisory panels for several pharmaceutical companies. In addition, Dr. Levin taught at UC Berkeley Extension and was a faculty member at the Department of Psychiatry of Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
