Marilyn Heiss is a Jewish educator based in the San Francisco Bay Area, teaching Torah and Jewish studies to a wide range of students, from b’mitzvah to adult learners.  From 2003-2005 she served as Program Director of Makor Or, the Jewish meditation center founded by her teachers Rabbi Alan Lew, z"l, and Zoketsu Norman Fischer.  Marilyn is presently the Ritual Maven at The Kitchen, a Jewish Emergent Community in San Francisco.
