Janice was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa where she received a B.A. in Clinical & Industrial Psychology, University of the Witwatersrand (WITS), and a Graduate Honors degree in Human Resource Management, Graduate School of Business Administration, WITS.  She immigrated to the USA in 1986, lived in Israel from 2001 to 2005 and then returned home to San Francisco.

Janice is privileged to have served as Assistant to several Consuls General at the Israeli Consulate in San Francisco from 1986 to 2001.  Her professional experience has been in the fields of public affairs, community-building and promoting a strong US-Israel relationship.  She is passionate about Jewish peoplehood, patient healthcare advocacy and the performing arts.

Janice is a Wexner Heritage Foundation Alumna and a Member of the Board of Trustees of foolsFURY Theater Company in San Francisco.
