Israelis are interesting eaters.  Inside one apartment building you will find families with entirely different definitions of a home-cooked Israeli meal.  Like a perfectly al dente Risotto, Israeli cuisines have some common flavors but mostly separate threads of food culture.  In this workshop we will dig into the building blocks of contemporary Israeli cuisine.  We will discover what is boilerplate and what is distinct, and try to understand why.  After we get an understanding of this unique cuisine, we will finish our journey with a hands-on experience of creating a very special blend of spices to elevate every dish, no matter where it comes from.
