Does the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) describe a land of Israel exclusively Jewish?  We look at several texts (in Hebrew and in translation) that present a picture of a multi-ethnic society during the days of the Israelite and Judean kings, and we will explore the vision of the prophets of a land at peace with Israelites sharing the land with other inhabitants.
